TXT vs NS proof
The two ways to prove you control a domain you're claiming.
TXT proof keeps the domain's current DNS. Add this record wherever the domain's DNS is hosted:
| Type | Name | Value |
|---|---|---|
| TXT | _dm |
dm-verify=<your team's token>, shown on the claim |
NS proof sets the domain's nameservers to the ones shown on the claim, at the registrar.
Use TXT when you can edit DNS but don't want to change nameservers yet, and NS when you control the registrar account. DNS changes can take a few minutes to be visible.
