Static vs smart groups

Organise domains with groups, and apply one setting to all members with a smart group.

A static group is a list of domains. Use it to filter, select and act on domains together.

A smart group is a group with an override: one service that applies to every member and wins over the members' own settings. Use it for policies such as "every domain in EU parking parks on this pool".

Both kinds are managed the same way: add domains from the Domains list or the group page, remove them from the group page. A domain can be in many static groups but in only one smart group.

See Precedence explained for how an override combines with a domain's own services.
