Redirect rules
Send visitors to different targets by country, device, time and weekday.
A redirect service has a default target, a code (301, 302 or a JavaScript redirect) and options to keep the original path and query string. It can also refuse known proxy and VPN visitors with a 403.
Serving rules route some visitors elsewhere. Each rule reads as a sentence, such as If country is DE, AT and device is mobile → 302 to https://example.de. A rule can match on:
- country and region,
- device (mobile, tablet, desktop, bot),
- a time window in a timezone, and weekdays.
Rules are checked top to bottom and the first match wins; visitors who match none get the default target. Drag rules to reorder them; a service can have up to 20.
On wide screens, Test a visitor shows which rule a given country, device and time would match.
