Import a BIND zone

From the DNS tab, choose Import zone and paste a zone file in BIND format, as exported by most DNS hosts.

The preview lists every record and marks the ones that will be skipped:

• the SOA record, because we manage it;
• records outside the zone;
• names managed by a service, which stay untouched;
• records that conflict with a service-managed record;
• lines that can't be parsed.

Import adds the rest and shows the result, including each skipped record with its reason. The new zone serial reaches the edges within a minute. Importing the same file twice doesn't create duplicates.
